Simply put, if they’re my friend, I won’t cover them editorially as I could not do so in a fair, unbiased manner.

However, this does not bar them from being showcased or promoted by me if I feel what they are creating is something I believe in, or feel that they deserve the recognition for their accomplishments.

I promise that you will never see them covered in any news videos, standalone or roundup. You will only ever see them in standalone opinion or feel-good pieces I produce, and will be very-clearly marked as such.
